This summer, the DJ booth at the Pula Arena will be commanded by one of today’s most influential and celebrated DJs – Black Coffee. His performances go beyond traditional DJ sets; they are immersive musical journeys, seamlessly blending emotion, rhythm, and world-class production.
A headliner at the globe’s biggest festivals and a frequent arena-filler worldwide, Black Coffee has long held the status of a global superstar in electronic music. The artist who redefined the global house scene made history in 2023 by winning a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album with Subconsciously, becoming the first African artist to achieve this milestone. Synonymous with the sophisticated afro-house sound, Black Coffee continues to electrify audiences across the world’s largest festivals and arenas.
Last summer, Black Coffee performed in the stunning ancient quarry Cave Romane, near Pula, at an event that sold out days in advance. His set was widely praised as one of the most memorable performances of the entire summer on the global electronic music scene.
The event carries a special symbolism: the Pula Arena was built using stone from Cave Romane, making this year’s spectacle a powerful and almost cinematic story – tracing the journey from the quarry where the stone was extracted to the monumental amphitheater constructed from it.
