The factory will manufacture low-voltage instrument transformers and medium-voltage instrument transformers, the local authorities said in a press release on Thursday, without disclosing the value of the investment.
“This investment is all the more valuable because the European Commission plans to invest around 584 billion euro ($677 billion) in the renovation of its electricity networks by 2030,” the head of the county, Andjelko Stricak, said.
The factory will produce transformers, not only for Croatia, but also for the entire Europe, he added. The investor has opened the factory in cooperation with it subsidiary Indian manufacturer of instrument transformers, magnetic components, and metering systems Narayan Powertech. More
